Pakistan's Fashion Week began on Wednesday, November 4th with an opulent opening
ceremony. 32 top designers fromacross the country who participated in the event. Some models strode the catwalk in vicious spiked bracelets and body
armour. Others had their heads covered, burqa-style, but with shoulders
- and tattoos - exposed. Bare shoulders, exposed navels and a lot of skin show ruled the ramp at the Pakistan fashion week. Male models wore long robes as well as shorts
and sequined T-shirts.The shows took place at the Marriott Hotel in Karachi.

Perwani showcased their elegant collections at this year's Milan
Fashion Week. Acclaimed fashion
photographer Tapu Javeri also went along with 3 designers to take pictures. Their collections impressed fashion critics to the extent that they have been invited again in 2010.
 Sanam Agha's Solo Fashion Show. Sanam had working on it for couple of months. She focused mainly on the cuts rather than embellishment. The collection had vintage feel to it but at the same time modern edge to it.  Pakistani Model Mehreen Syed launched her own jewelery line on October 10th in Lahore. Many of colleagues participated in the launch by modeling her jewelery.
The Secret Garden. Verve Events held a grand party this October in Lahore. Top socialites and models of Lahore were present. The event for supported by Red Bull.
